AI music, finished by human hands.

You generated something promising on Suno or Udio. We turn it into a broadcast-ready, copyrightable track — re-tracked, remixed, and mastered by a billion-stream producer. Three business days. From $249.

Founded by Josh Taylor1 billion+ streams, charted on Spotify's Global Viral and Beatport, U.S. tours performing original music alongside Grammy-winning artists. Every track touched by hand. No farmed-out work.
The two walls

AI music almost works. Until it has to.

Generative tools have made decent-sounding music cheap and instant. They've also created two hard problems for anyone trying to actually use that music professionally.

You can't copyright it.

Under current U.S. Copyright Office guidance, work generated solely by AI — with no meaningful human authorship — isn't eligible for copyright registration. For commercials, sync licensing, broadcast, or any use where ownership matters, raw AI output puts you in legal gray space.

Your audience can hear it.

AI tracks have tells: muddy low end, glassy high frequencies, phasing vocals, awkward transitions, generic arrangement. Trained ears flag it instantly. The fix isn't another prompt — it's a producer who knows what to re-record, what to replace, and what to leave alone.

The service

AI Polish: your track, finished properly.

Send what you generated. We take it apart, replace the weak spots with live instrumentation and proper production craft, then rebuild it as a master you can actually license, register, and broadcast.

  • Stem extraction & analysis. We isolate what's working in your AI track and identify what needs to be rebuilt or replaced.
  • Live re-tracking of key elements. Real instruments, real performances over the parts that matter most. This is what creates the human authorship that supports copyright registration.
  • Professional mix. Frequency balance, stereo image, dynamic shaping. The polish that separates broadcast audio from bedroom output.
  • Final master. Delivered at -14 LUFS for streaming, with alternative masters available for broadcast, film, and reference.
  • Production notes. A summary of exactly what was changed, replaced, or added — useful if you ever need to document the human authorship for legal purposes.
  • Delivery in 3 business days. Faster turnarounds available on request.

AOA Labs was started by Josh Taylor — a producer with two decades in the studio, over a billion streams on original music, charting placements on Spotify's Global Viral and Beatport, and U.S. tour stages performing alongside Grammy-winning artists.

The thesis is simple. Generative AI has dropped the floor on what a "musical idea" costs. But the ceiling — what it takes to make a track that's broadcast-ready, copyrightable, and actually moves an audience — hasn't moved. That gap between the floor and the ceiling is where this business lives.

Every project that comes in is handled by Josh personally. No agencies, no junior assistants, no offshore studios. If you hire AOA Labs, you're hiring the producer whose work you can verify on every major streaming platform.

Questions

Things people ask first.

The U.S. Copyright Office's current position (per their 2023 statement and ongoing AI guidance) is that works require substantial human authorship to be eligible for copyright registration. Our process involves significant re-tracking, replacement, and creative production decisions — the kind of human authorship that supports a copyright claim. We provide production notes documenting exactly what human work went into the track, which is useful if you ever register or defend it. We're not a law firm and don't give legal advice; for high-stakes commercial use, we recommend reviewing your specific situation with your own counsel.

WAV is ideal, MP3 is fine. If your AI tool gave you stems (separated drums, vocals, etc.), send those too — they give us more flexibility and usually result in a better finished product. Suno, Udio, Mubert, AIVA, and most other generators are all supported.

Then you want our custom original tier, which is in the works and launching soon. Email us with your brief and we'll let you know when it's available — or we can quote a custom project now.

One round of revisions is included — typical things like mix tweaks, energy adjustments, swapping in different sounds, or restructuring sections. Major direction changes (e.g., "actually let's make it a completely different genre") usually fall outside revisions and we'd quote that separately.

Yes — rush turnarounds (24 or 48 hours) are available for an additional fee. Mention it in your intake brief and we'll confirm scheduling within a few hours.

Yes. Twenty years of production means we've worked across a lot of genres and unusual briefs. If you have something experimental, niche, or just hard to describe, that's often the most interesting work to take on.
